Description

The gates and gate piers, along with the quadrant walls, are probably from the 19th century. They feature coped and coursed sandstone walls that flank the entrance to the southwest of Spital House. On either side of the entrance are square-plan, pyramidal-capped sandstone piers. The gate piers are also square in plan and have corniced, pyramidal caps, supporting a decorative iron gate.
