Description
13 Exchange Street in Jedburgh is a plain three-storey, three-bay tenement building dating from the mid-19th century, which features a shop on the ground floor. The exterior is constructed of stugged cream ashlar with polished margins.
On the right side of the ground floor, there is a deep-set panelled door that provides access to a two-storey, three-bay flat above. To the left, the shopfront consists of a tripartite design with a deep-set glass door and a rectangular fanlight in the center, flanked by plate glass display windows at the base course. It also has an applied fascia and an awning box.
The upper floors are fitted with four-pane timber sash and case windows, and the building is topped with a pitched grey slate roof.
