Canongate Gallery, 8 Burn Wynd, Jedburgh

The Canongate Gallery, located at 8 Burn Wynd in Jedburgh, is a pair of two-storey, three-bay cottages built in the 19th century and recently rebuilt in 1992. The cottages are constructed of rubble with irregularly placed openings and feature ashlar margins and cills.

On the south elevation, there are seven bays. The center bay has a door at ground level with a blank area above it. To the right, there are three bays, with the left bay featuring a picture window at ground level, a door in the center, and windows to the right and on the first floor. The right side is pebbledashed. To the left, there are three irregular bays, with a door on the right and a blank center bay at ground level, along with windows on the first floor.

The north elevation has six irregular bays. The inner left bay is blank on the first floor, while the inner right bay has a door at ground level leading to the Canongate Gallery, with a pair of windows above and a piend-roofed dormer that breaks the eaves. Other bays feature windows on both floors.

The gable ends are harled, and the building has 12-pane sash and case timber windows. The roof has flat skews and is covered with grey slates.
