Description
Macdonald's Fountain, located on Gleniffer Road in Paisley, was designed by Angus Ferguson in 1883. The fountain features an irregular arrangement of rubble blocks and includes a basin with a concave retaining wall behind it. On this wall, there is a bronze portrait plaque created by sculptor John Mossman in 1872, which is fixed onto a polished granite rounded surface. The plaque also has carved lettering on a roundel.
