Description
The gates and boundary wall at Morrison's Academy on Ferntower Road in Crieff were designed by Peddie & Kinnear in 1860. The square-section ashlar gatepiers feature stop-chamfered edges and flat-topped battered caps. There are two-leaf decorative ironwork gates along with an additional pedestrian gate. The flat-coped rubble boundary walls enclose the school grounds, extending along Ferntower Road to the southeast, Victoria Terrace to the northeast, Coldwells Road to the northwest, and the rear of privately owned properties to the southwest.
