Trottick Cottage & Barn, The Knapp

Trottick Cottage & Barn, located at The Knapp, dates from the late 19th century. It is a single-storey barn with a basement, constructed on sloping ground. The exterior features vertically boarded timber, a concrete base, and an overlapping slate roof designed for ventilation. The barn has lattice windows.

On the north gable, there are large double doors. The west elevation includes a large opening on the left that has been blocked with two doors and a partition, while a window is situated to the right. The roof is swept and half-piended to the right. The south gable has a window for both the basement and the main floor. The east elevation is obscured by dense planting.
