Description

Early 1830s. 2-storey, 3-bay T-plan Classical villa (converted into flats) with symmetrical principal elevation to E and large 2-storey wing to W to St Leonard's Bank. Ashlar to E; coursed, tooled rubble to other elevations with ashlar margins and quoins. Eaves cornice.

FURTHER DESCRIPTION: PRINCIPAL ELEVATION TO E: central timber panelled door behind screen of Ionic columns in antis. Canted bay windows to outer bays. Moulded architraves to upper floor windows.

Predominantly plate glass timber sash and case windows to W, other elevations with predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Piended roofs with grey slates. Wallhead and ridge stacks; extension with central gablets with stacks.

OUTBUILDING: gabled rubble outbuilding to NW with boarded timber ground and loft doors to the street.

BOUNDARY WALLS: to N, S, E, and at W. low coped rubble wall to E with central metal gate. Taller rubble walls to N, S and W.
