Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey with 1st floor breaking eaves, 3-bay, rectangular-plan farmhouse with slightly later, lower single storey and attic 2-bay addition. Rubble construction, harl pointing, stugged dressings with droved margins, slate roof. Mostly 4-pane sash and case windows, gabled dormerheads to S elevation, leaded lattice casement stair; bracketted eaves; linked corniced ashlar end stacks (centre rebuilt in brick, E stack single).

S ELEVATION: original house to left; boarded door with window to top at centre, small wallhead window above, window to left and right at ground and 1st floor. Addition to right; 2 windows to ground floor, 1 central 1st floor window.

E GABLE: 2-pane casement window to ground floor right, enlarged modern window to 1st floor.

W GABLE: window to ground floor left.

N ELEVATION: original block at right; blocked door to left, small blocked window to right, stair window above; later block to left; door to centre.

INTERIOR: decorative cast-iron balusters at landing; box bed alcove under stairs.
