Description

The Road Bridge at The Knapp dates back to the early 19th century. It features a single span with a segmental-headed arch that crosses over the Knapp Burn. The bridge is constructed from rubble, with squared rubble voussoirs. The western parapet has rounded rubble coping, while the eastern parapet is also rubble-coped and integrated into the walls of the Rossie policy.
