Description

Kierlsand is an 18th-century, three-storey, four-bay tenement that completes an irregular terrace to the east in Errol Village. The building features narrow ashlar bands and droved ashlar quoins, along with an eaves course.

The south elevation facing High Street is symmetrical, with the ground floor comprising boarded timber doors and letterbox fanlights on either side of a central window, along with two additional windows in each outer bay. The upper floors have regular fenestration, with the low second floor windows positioned close to the eaves.

The west elevation is mostly blank with a gabled appearance, featuring a single window on the outer left at the first floor and a prominent gablehead stack.

The east elevation is also gabled, with a window on each floor at the outer left, while a lower building, which is not included in this listing, is situated to the right.

The north (rear) elevation displays regular fenestration across a five-bay layout, with a later brick stair tower that projects from the bay to the right of center.

The windows are timber sash and case with glazing patterns of four, six, and twelve panes. The steeply pitched roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped squared rubble stacks topped with cans and thackstanes.
