Victoria Hall, Errol. High Street

Victoria Hall in Errol is a later 19th-century, three-bay, rectangular-plan hall designed in a classical style. It features polychrome brick with stone cills, round-headed openings, and brick pilasters, along with a nailhead moulded eaves course.

On the north elevation facing High Street, the gabled front has a central two-leaf panelled timber door with a boarded semicircular fanlight above. This is flanked by pilasters and windows in the outer bays, with additional pilasters at the outer corners and a glazed oculus topped with a stone fleur de lis finial in the gablehead.

The west elevation is blank, featuring a plain brick buttress at the center and four vertically-astragalled traditional rooflights, along with a small conical-capped cylindrical air vent at the roof ridge.

The south elevation shows the roof of a lower polygonal bay behind a high screen wall.

On the east elevation, there are two windows grouped toward the center, and a further window or door to the outer left, with a lower piended bay projecting at the outer left.

The building has a grey slate roof with large flush vertically paned rooflights, and ashlar-coped skews and skewputts. Surrounding the property are low saddleback-coped brick boundary walls to the north.
