Park Cottage, St. Madoe's Road, Errol

Park Cottage, located on St. Madoe's Road in Errol, was built in 1886. This single-storey, three-bay estate cottage is situated on a prominent corner site and features timbered dormer gableheads. The exterior is constructed from stugged squared and snecked rubble, accented with ashlar margins and quoins, and includes basket-arched openings with chamfered arrises, stone transoms, and mullions.

On the west elevation, the central bay contains a panelled timber door topped by a plate glass fanlight. The bay to the right features a triangular-plan, four-light transomed window with a slated roof that breaks the eaves into a finialled dormerhead. The left bay has a four-light transomed bipartite window beneath a carved datestone displaying the monogram 'WOD', with a dormerhead similar to the right bay.

The north elevation is a blank gabled wall with a timber brace at the gablehead and an unsympathetic lower extension on the outer left. The cottage has timber sash and case windows with a horizontal three-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with cans. The deeply overhanging eaves feature plain bargeboarding and braces, along with decorative cast-iron finials.
