The Ericht Ale House, 13 Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie

The Ericht Ale House is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay public house located at 13 Wellmeadow in Blairgowrie. It is part of an irregular terrace to the south and features harled walls with painted margins and a base course.

The southwest elevation, which is the principal facade, is symmetrical. It has a central two-leaf boarded timber door with a plate glass fanlight above, flanked by windows on either side. The first floor has regular fenestration with plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor features fixed multi-pane glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped brick stacks with polygonal cans. A cast iron downpipe with a decorative rainwater hopper is also present.

Inside, there are some moulded cornices and boarded dadoes, along with a stone fireplace located in the ground floor west room.
