Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house (now offices) with shops at ground, in irregular terrace running to S. Red bull-faced squared rubble with contrasting ashlar dressings. Ground floor cornice.

E ELEVATION: panelled timber door off-centre left at ground with traditional shop to left, modern shop to right. 3 regularly-disposed windows to 1st floor and 2 canted tripartite dormers above flanking small centre rooflight.

N (WEST HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: gabled end with return of modern shop front at ground and single window at 1st floor.

6-, 12-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows; fixed display windows to shops. Grey slates. Coped harled stacks with thackstanes and cans; ashlar-coped skews.
