Description

18th century (?). Single storey and attic pair of rectangular-plan cottages, (Number 8 to right, W, roofless) with chamfered NW angle, abutting Numbers 2 and 4 to left (E), (listed separately). Random rubble.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: NUMBER 6: 3-bay (formerly 4-bay). Boarded door at ground in bay to left of centre. Window at each floor in bay to outer left. Blocked door in bay to right of centre. Window at each floor in bay to outer right. NUMBER 8: 3-bay (formerly 4-bay). 2-leaf boarded door at ground in bay to left of centre. Window (boarded) in bay to outer left. Blocked doorway in bay to right of centre. Blocked window in chamfered angle to outer right.

Timber framed windows to Number 6. Traditional graded stone slated roof with tar covering; stone ridge; rubble gablehead stack to E of Number 6; uPVC rainwater goods.
