Description

18th century, re-worked form earlier fabirc, dated 167 (7?); with later alterations. 2-storey 2-bay, rectangular-plan pair of houses forming small terrace with crowstepped gable end to street. Harled.

N (GABLED) ELEVATION: 2-bay: window at 1st floor in bay to left; window at each floor in bay to right; gablehead stack above.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay, (5-bay at ground). Single bay (2-bay at ground) house to left (S): part-glazed timber panelled door with letterbox fanlight at ground in bay to right; window at 1st floor above. Window at ground in bay to left. 2-bay (3-bay at ground) house to right (N): window at each floor in bay to centre. Timber-panelled door with letterbox fanlight at ground in bay to left; window at 1st floor above. Window at ground in bay to right.

Modern timber hopper windows to N elevation; 2-and 4-pane timber sash and case windows to E. Grey slate roof with stone slate easing course; cavetto moulded skewputts, (one inscribed 'MH' with date); harled, coped vestigial gablehead stack to N; cast-iron downpipes; uPVC gutters.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.
