Description

Earlier 19th century, incorporating earlier fabric. 3-storey, 5-bay tenement with shops at ground and attic. Painted ashlar, raised margins, eaves course, cornice and blocking course.

HIGH STREET ELEVATION: tenement door off-centre left, flanked by

2 shops to centre and right and shop to left. Corniced window to each bay at 1st floor, and smaller windows to 2nd floor. Wallhead gable over centre bay with pair of diamond stacks (truncated).

REAR ELEVATION: 3-bay with full-height bowed stair tower at centre, window to each floor and half-conical roof, later rendered addition in re-entrant angle to right; windows flanking. Later gabled dormer to right and wallhead stack to left of tower.

12-pane, timber sash and case windows with some plate glass replacements. Pair of slate-hung canted, piend-roofed dormers. Grey slates. Mutual gable stacks.
