Description

Muirhouse is a cottage dated 1821, featuring a single storey and attic with three bays, along with associated farm buildings. The structure is constructed of painted rubble with margins. It has an off-centre door that displays the date on the lintel, a single window to the right, and an altered bipartite window to the left. The cottage is topped with a slate roof and includes two gabled dormers and end stacks. It is connected to a range of farm buildings on the left, which includes a pend, a door, a single window, and a door in a lean-to shed.
