Description
Craigdews is a cottage dating from the early to earlier 19th century. It is a single-storey, three-bay structure with outbuildings that are set back and adjoined to the north and south. The exterior is finished in painted rubble.
On the west elevation, there is a window in each bay. The south elevation features a lower gabled outbuilding with a window in the gable head, which is adjoined at the center and to the right. The north elevation also has a lower gabled outbuilding, with a window in the gable head and another window to the west, adjoined at the center and to the left.
The glazing includes fixed windows, with a six-pane window to the west and a four-pane window in the outbuildings. The cottage has red sandstone coped skew stones and a ridge, with painted rubble gable head stacks. The roof is covered with graded grey slates.
