Description

This late 17th century free-standing sundial is made of sandstone. It features a replacement square shaft and a square dial-stone with moulded re-entrant angles, resting on a reeded cushion capital. The carved dial is badly weathered and displays the initials "A", "H", "M", and "G" at the corners of the dial-stone. The iron gnomon is also in a badly weathered condition.
