The front is made of rubble with contrasting painted joints and features long and short detailing. There is a central door, and the outer bays have later gabled dormers that break the wallhead. The west gable has a blocked attic window. The cottage has modern two-pane glazing, coped concrete end stacks, and a slate roof with a tiled ridge.
