Description
This is a mid-19th century building on Newton Street, Kilbirnie. It is two storeys high and four bays wide. The walls are built of rubble with ashlar detailing around the edges. The ground floor has two windows and two door openings, the doors being centrally located and to the left, all with painted margins. A single window is blocked on the right-hand side. There are four 12-pane sash windows on the first floor. A decorative eaves course and cornice run around the building, and a central wall-head stack with a moulded base is present. An end stack and a slate roof complete the roofline.
