Description

This is an earlier 19th-century building on Main Street, Kilbirnie, situated at numbers 89 and 91. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure built of painted ashlar with painted dressings and angle margins. An off-centre recessed door is set within a pilastered doorpiece. To the left of the door is a shop with an enlarged window, while a single window with lying-pane glazing is to the right. The first floor has three irregularly placed sash windows, now with modern glazing. An eaves course and cornice run along the top of the building. Chimneys are located at each end, and the roof is covered with slate.
