Description
The stable block at Swindridge Muir, dating from the early 19th century, is arranged around a square courtyard. It is constructed of painted rubble with margins. The south elevation features two storeys and three bays, which are linked to the end bays of the side courtyard ranges. A tall central segmental-headed pend provides access into the courtyard, with a loft opening located above it. The outer bays contain sash windows. The building has an eaves course, a cornice, end stacks, and a slate roof. Inside the courtyard, there are three single-storey ranges that include two cottages and several segmental-headed carriage entrances.
