Description

Carsehead Bridge, built around 1822, is located over the River Garnock on Beith Road in Dalry. It is likely designed by architect John Patton. The bridge is constructed from rubble with ashlar arches set in shallow recesses, and it features a late 19th century parapet. The structure includes a broad central span, which is flanked by single smaller arches for flood relief.
