Park House, 8 Matheson Road, Stornoway, Lewis

Park House is a late 19th to early 20th century villa located at 8 Matheson Road in Stornoway, Lewis. This two-storey and attic building features a three-bay layout and is designed in an L-plan. The exterior is constructed from rubble with unpainted concrete dressings, and it has a slate roof that is partly concealed by a balustraded wall-head parapet.

The villa has an advanced bay on the right side, which includes tripartite windows within a two-storey square projecting bay and an arched shallow porch situated in the re-entrant angle. The left bay also features mullioned windows. The eaves are corbelled below the balustrade, and there are two dormers with arched roofs set behind it. The building has end stacks and is surrounded by a low boundary wall topped with decorative cast-iron railings, which includes the original gate.
