Description
Barvas Lodge is a building that was originally an inn, dating from the 18th century or the early part of the 19th century. It has since been converted into a sporting lodge, with additional features that are in keeping with the original structure. The lodge is single storey with a gabled roof and small dormers. It is constructed of rubble with sash windows and has slate roofs. The section that appears to be the original part faces south, while the jambs on the west (rear), the north gable, and the central part of the east front are likely later additions.
