Description
This is a late 19th century road bridge located in Shawbost, Lewis. It features a single segmental arch spanning a stream, constructed from squared rubble blocks. The abutments are shallowly battered. A low parapet with coping slabs runs along the top of the bridge, and wing walls, also of rubble with concrete coping, were added in the 20th century.
