Description
Carloway Free Church, dated 1884, is a box-type Gothic church featuring pointed openings. The entrance is located in the west gable front and has a modern door. Above the entrance, there is a gallery-level window with Y-tracery made of timber, and the church has an apex belfry. The exterior is harled, and it retains its original glazing, which consists mostly of small-paned sashes. The church has six-bay flanks and a slated roof. It is enclosed by a rubble-built perimeter wall.
