Description
This is a mid-to-late 19th century former church, now operating as a museum since 1991. It is a rectangular building with a gabled front and rear, each featuring four bays with Tudor-arched windows. Small gabled projections are present on each gable end: a porch on the north side and a former vestry on the right (south) side. An external stack is also visible. The building is constructed of rubble with squared dressings, and has slated roofs. Security grilles are placed over the windows. Each gable has blank roundels. A harled boundary wall runs along the roadside. The statutory address is Shawbost Museum.
