Religious Bookshop, 7 Kenneth Street, Stornoway, Lewis

This mid-19th century building, located at 7 Kenneth Street in Stornoway, Lewis, is an industrial structure with its gable facing the street. Its original function is uncertain, but it seems to be connected to the fishing industry. The building has a long, rectangular plan and consists of two storeys with nine nearly regular bays featuring doors and windows with various glazing patterns on both levels, along with a long row of skylights. It is constructed from rubble with squared dressings and has a gabled slate roof with skews and end stacks. Later buildings are attached to the front wall. The gable that faces the street includes two windows at the ground level and a centrally placed blocked loft doorway.
