Description
This building is a textile mill located at Kindar Cottages in New Abbey, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It has a long rectangular plan and is two storeys high with twelve regular bays. The structure is built from rubble, with some parts painted. All openings are square-headed.
On the east elevation, there is an off-centre loft door above a forestair, and a door at ground level. The southmost bay has blocked windows, and some west-facing windows are also blocked, while the remaining windows are boarded over. There is a cart opening on the west wall. The building features straight skews, brick end stacks, and is roofed with graded slates.
