31, 33, and 35 Cromwell Street in Stornoway, Lewis, is a building that is difficult to date but is probably from the first half of the 19th century, although it may date back to the 18th century. The structure has two storeys and an attic, featuring a symmetrical three-bay front with a central wall-head gable. The building is harled above the ground floor, which has a narrow doorway leading to the upper flat(s) located between modern shops. The upper part has been re-glazed, and there is a small window in the gable along with piended outer dormers. The building has apex stacks with ashlar margins, slate roofs, and decorative cast-iron brackets supporting the guttering.
