Description
This building, located at 3 St Catherine Street in Banff, dates from around 1800 and is a 2-storey house with an attic and a 3-bay front that faces the street. The exterior is harled with rendered margins. It features a central door and three later piended dormers that break the wallhead, likely replacing previously blocked gable attic lights. The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case glazing. The house has a moulded eaves cornice, corniced and margined end stacks, and flat skews with moulded run-off skewputts, all topped with a slate roof. There is also a rear wing and entrance. The building has some internal divisions, allowing it to function as two separate dwellings.
