Description
7 St Catherine Street in Banff is an early 19th-century building featuring two stories and a dormerless attic. It has a wide three-bay frontage with an additional bay on the west side that includes a pend entrance. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins. The central entrance has a modern door, and there are tripartite windows in the outer bays on the first floor, with a pend entrance on the far west side and a window above it. The building has modern plate glass uPVC glazing, corniced margined end stacks, Velux roof lights, a concrete tiled roof, and a slated roof at the rear.
Inside, little of the original features remain, but there are some panelled doors and window shutters from around 1830 to 1850 in the ground floor room on the west side.
