Description

This building, located at 1 Fife Street in Banff, dates from around 1800 and is a two-storey, three-bay house with a return gable facing Clunie Street. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins. It features a central door and regular window arrangements, which include uPVC 12-pane glazing. There are single windows on both the ground and first floors of the return gable.

The house has coped rubble stacks at the ends and on the wallhead, with the latter heightened in brick. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and is piended at the Clunie Street gable.
