Description
49 and 51 Castle Street in Banff is a two-storey and attic building dated 1785, with later alterations. It features an irregular two-bay design and is harled with painted margins. The enlarged shop window is flanked by a door, and there is a pend entrance on the right. On the first floor, there are two windows, along with a late 19th-century canted wallhead dormer that has four-pane timber sash and case glazing. The building also includes late 19th-century flat skews, a skewputt, and a coped end stack, topped with a slate roof.
