Radio Nan Gaidheal, 52 Church Street, Stornoway, Lewis

Radio Nan Gaidheal is a large, asymmetrical two-storey villa that dates from the late 19th century. The building is rendered with painted details and features a three-bay L-plan front. On the left side, there is a shallow advanced gable with mullioned windows, while steep-gabled dormer heads are present over the remaining bays. The entrance consists of an arched doorway leading to the inner bays, and there is a canted ground floor window on the left. The villa has plate glass sash windows, blocked eaves, gable finials, end stacks, and slate roofs. At the rear, there is a full-height wing that is similarly detailed. The property is enclosed by low boundary walls topped with iron railings, which are now incomplete as of 1991. A wide opening has been created to provide access to a car park formed within the garden, and there is a modern rear extension.
