Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay S facing house with return gable

and rear wing to Charlotte Street. Harled, tooled and

polished ashlar dressings and margins. Centre entrance with

pedimented doorpiece; flanking aproned windows; regular

fenestration; single ground and 1st floor windows in W gable;

12-pane glazing. Coped panelled end stacks; graded Banffshire

slate roof.

Slate headed cast-iron stays in W gable.

Single storey and attic, 4-bay wing with entrance to

Charlotte Street.

INTERIOR: Corniced ceilings; semi circular stairwell;

panelled doors and window shutters. Drawing and Dining Rooms have painted timber chimneypieces removed from Dipple House, Speymouth House, Speymouth Parish, Item No 1A.
