Description

Mid 19th century, probably incorporating earlier fabric and on earlier site; some later additions. Rectangular mill and kiln range built against slope. 3-storey W elevation with wide irregular 3 bays, 2-storey E elevation with 2 later projecting gabled wings. Harled and harl-pointed rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Varied galzing; ridge vent to kiln; mainly slate roofs, corrugated asbestos to wing.
