C19. Formerly a kiln range. L-shaped block comprising a north-south wing and a wide east-west wing with angle of 90 degrees facing south. East-west wing has 3 parallel ranges, northernmost one shorter with slightly splayed end. Clunch and brick with ironstone rubble in southernmost range. Half-hipped old tiled roofs. In right angle, south facing side of north-south wing has higher frontage; hipped slate roof with raised louvred ventilators with pitched roof; below, wall of clunch rubble with red brick dressings and quoins and dentil eaves; garretting. 2 window bays. Lean-to annexe built on to this along east side. North wall of brick.
