Description
The barn located to the south-west of Badshot Lea Farmhouse dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is an aisled barn with an oak timber-framed structure comprising seven bays. There are central entrances on both the north and south sides. The barn features a brick plinth and brick ventilators. It has a very low old tiled roof that is half-hipped to the east. There is a cross wing situated to the south and east of the central bay, which has a separate set of framing. This section includes four bays and an additional half bay to the south. The barn has a brick footing, with weatherboarding and corrugated material above, while the south wall is constructed from flint.
