Description

The Maltings is a 19th-century range built of rubble stone and brick, with a slate roof. This two-storey building curves slightly at its west end and features nine windows and three external doors leading to the first floor. A large oast house or drying kiln, distinguished by its high slate roof, is located at the east end, making it a prominent landmark in the town.
