Description
No. 22 in Olney Market Place is a 18th-century building that has been altered and is rendered in cement to resemble ashlar stone. It features a tiled roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks, along with four hipped dormers that have 2-light casements. The building is two storeys high and has a central door with six fielded panels, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with a radiating pattern. The wooden doorcase has shallow scrolls and a triangular dentilled pediment that is broken over the arched head of the doorway. To the left, there is a modern shop window, while to the right are three sash windows. On the first floor, there are five sash windows, all with flat arched heads and bracketed cills, and none of the windows have glazing bars.
