Description

The Old Bankchambers is a 18th-century building located on the south side of Olney Market Place. It features a stone construction with a tiled roof and brick chimney stacks, and includes one flat-topped dormer. The building is two storeys high and has a plinth and a first-floor band.

Number 35 has a 19th-century shop front with panelled stallrisers and pilasters, topped with a cornice. There is a segmental arched carriage entry in the centre. Number 36 features a six-panelled door with a plain rectangular fanlight, accessed by three stone steps. To the right, there are two sash windows with keystones in the floorband and no glazing bars. The first floor has five sash windows, all with glazing bars and stone lintels that also have keystones.
