115-117 Mid Street, Keith

115-117 Mid Street in Keith is a later 19th century, two-storey and attic building featuring four bays and shops on the ground floor. The frontage is made of tooled and coursed rubble with tooled and polished ashlar dressings, while the flanks are rubble. The ground floor has channelled ashlar angle pilasters.

At the center is a round-headed entrance within a channelled keystoned and corniced doorpiece, adorned with a neo-Jacobean strap motif. The original shop fronts on either side of the entrance consist of three bays, each with a recessed entrance, separated by slender cast-iron columns topped with stiff leaf capitals. These shop fronts also feature plate glass windows and panelled aprons.

On the first floor, there are four windows that are linked by a deep eaves band. Each outer bay has a gabletted dormer with bargeboarding and four-pane glazing. The building has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
