Description
Hermitage, located in Dalkeith Park near Dalkeith House, is an 18th-century structure featuring a small barrel-vaulted chamber built of rubble.
On the south elevation, there is a doorway with a modern timber beam positioned below the lintel. The north elevation has a blocked opening that includes a relieving arch. Inside, the chamber contains a segmental-arched recess in the northern wall and a concrete floor.
