Description

Quilters Vault, located at 89 High Street, is a late 13th-century semi-circular vault constructed from coursed rubble. Each side of the vault features an aumbry in the side walls. There is a window dating from around 1300 and a door that was altered around 1500. The north wall includes a fireplace that has an oven inserted into it. This structure is also a scheduled ancient monument.
