BEVERLEY HENGATE TA 0339 (south-east side) 9/83 No 16 (Arden's Vaults) 1.3.50 GV II Early C18. 2 storeys in painted brick, built for, and until recently used as, wine vaults. Ground floor, arched double doorways to vaults, one single door and 2 small fixed windows. 1st floor, 2-panel door over main doors, 3 sash windows with glazing bars. Wood gutter on block brackets. Pantile roof. Interior: brick vaulted, with former hoist in granary above the vaults.
