Description

No. 3 Hengate is a building dating from around 1780. It has two storeys and is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof featuring a wood dentil eaves cornice. The façade includes four windows with brick voussoirs, flush frames, and hung sashes that have glazing bars. There is a small gabled dormer also with glazing bars. The entrance features a wood 'Adam' doorcase adorned with enriched consoles, an architrave, chambranles, a frieze, and a dentil pediment. The door itself consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a three-pane rectangular fanlight. Additionally, there is a four-panel yard door that has a similar fanlight.
